As a traditional artist, I was initially skeptical of the idea of using artificial intelligence (AI) to create art. After all, how could a machine replicate the nuanced, emotional expression that comes from the human hand?
But as I began to explore the AI art revolution, I realised that the technology was not seeking to replace traditional art, but rather to expand the boundaries of what we consider to be artistic expression and a tool to help add to the creation process .
One of the most exciting aspects of AI art is the way it can generate entirely new forms and styles that may have never been conceived of by a human artist. Using algorithms and deep learning, AI can analyse millions of images, music pieces, and other forms of data to create something entirely new and original.
This is not to say that the role of the artist has become obsolete in the AI art world. On the contrary, the artist's role has become more critical than ever before. As a traditional artist, I see my role as working in tandem with the AI technology, guiding and shaping its output to create a final piece that reflects my own artistic vision, when creating with Ai.
In many ways, working with AI feels like collaborating with another artist. The machine can offer suggestions, generate ideas, and help me realise my creative visions .
One of the most exciting things about AI art is its potential to Democratize the art world. Traditionally, access to materials, training, and exhibition opportunities have limited the number of people who can pursue a career in the arts. With AI technology, however, anyone with a computer and an internet connection can experiment with creating their own unique works of art.
This accessibility has the potential to bring new voices and perspectives into the art world, challenging traditional notions of what constitutes art and who can be an artist.
Of course, there are still challenges to be overcome in the AI art revolution. As with any new technology, there are ethical considerations around ownership, copyright, and the potential for bias in the algorithms used to create art.
But as a traditional artist who is embracing the new technology, I believe that AI art has the potential to transform the way we think about art and creativity. By pushing the boundaries of what is possible, AI art has the power to challenge our assumptions, spark new ideas, and inspire us to see the world in entirely new ways.

I have always been fascinated by the intersection of art and technology. So when I set out to create a music video for my latest project, I decided to push the boundaries of what was possible by using AI stop motion animation and AI-generated music.
I started by Making my images in Midjourney, capturing the beauty and chaos of the world around me. Using AI algorithms to manipulate and merge these images, creating a stop motion animation that was entirely produced by me.
It was a time-consuming process that took me two weeks of work, but the result was worth it. The stop motion animation had a dreamlike quality that perfectly complemented my music, creating a truly immersive experience for the viewer.
But I didn't stop there. I also worked with AI Tech to generate music based on my compositions. The result was a sound that was both familiar and otherworldly, a perfect match for the surreal landscape of the video.
As a traditional artist, I was hesitant to embrace AI technology at first. But working on this project was a revelation. It allowed me to push the boundaries of what I thought was possible, to create something truly unique and groundbreaking.
The process was both challenging and rewarding. Creating a stop motion animation entirely by myself was a daunting task, but the final product was a testament to the power of creativity and technology.
Looking ahead, I am excited to explore more possibilities for AI technology in my art. This project has opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.
